This 34 week course is for students who have graduated from the Foundation Certificate and wish to take their education and training to the highest level.
This course will prepare you for the inspiring world of a hairdressing career within the very best salons nationally and internationally.
This course covers Level 3 and 4 NZQA Unit Standards
• Advanced cutting techniques
• Razor and clipper cutting
• Advanced colouring techniques
• Creative cutting and colouring
• Long hair and avant garde styling
• Make-up and photography
• Building and maintaining a clientele
• Professional development and motivation
In addition to the above the internationally recognized Pivot Point programme is integrated throughout the Advanced Certificate. The following disciplines are covered
• Hair design
• Colour design
• Mens sculpture

Course Hours
Study hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8.45am until 4.15pm including one late night. Monday is a self directed study day used for projects and assignments.

Fee Protection
Student fees will be held in trust in compliance with Section 236A of the Education Act 1989 as amended by the Education Act (No4) 1991
Entry Criteria
Completion of the Servilles Foundation Certificate or completion of the equivalent qualifications including foundation cutting skills or Hairdressers holding other relevant skills or experience.
Passion and desire to excel in the hairdressing industry.
Course Acceptance
A letter will be sent to the applicant immediately following the interview to notify acceptance. On acceptance you will be required to return a contract to Servilles Academy within 5 working days.
